Concept is good (not new though) …. story line is somewhat over stretched at times …. Overall good … but Bratati’s acting is simply “Osohyo” …. Labu was the central character….. Much much more was expected from the person playing that role…

Based on a story of former lovers this movie reminds me a lot about Rituporno Ghosh’s Titli. But here the story is totally ruined in making and portrayal of the characters. Almost everybody just read their dialogues without any passion. I like Bratati Banarjee’s recitation but poetry recital and acting is not the same thing! There are only a few actors who got critically acclaimed for both such as the famous Shomvu Mitra and Tripti Mitra. Bratati Banarjee’s statue like performance literally destroyed the movie. Only exception is Sabysachi Chakraborti who’s spontaneous and natural and all the Tagore songs are enjoyable which are not often seen being used in recent Bengali movies.
