This movie is for educated bengali mass, not for ordinary labour class people. It was a bit monotonous at times but overall presentation was good.

Intellectually awesome; superb performance by Ritu and Saheb; excellent background music composition.

After watching twice…I feel that this early work of the director has a poor content wrapped up with a intellectual (Antel) cover…but he is definitely inproving.

Was reading all your reviews. You r right when u say that the movie has the antel effect brought to you on an amateur platter. Guys, I am the writer of the film. The basic script was mine and this director just made a mess of it. Did not even give me enough credit.
I had been a very busy journalist those days. Though the unfairness of the act left me angry, I never had any time to take up any action. Also because the banner was so big, that I found it difficult to say anything. But now, with the help of internet I am speaking out.
Anyway, people liked the storyline and hated to sit through the film since it was very boring and slow. So in a way, I was rewarded. But I still want the critics to know that Mon Amour was my storyline. It was originally a telefilm made by Gautam Bose as Anyo Basanta, in the late 90s. That telefilm was scripted by me and was made by the director very well. I am trying to salvage the telefilm. If anyone knows abt it, please let me know.
